Spotlight on Intaki: TLC Interview

This past March at the SOCT Symposium on Emergent Threats, ILF’s Mahesha, Bataav, was interviewed by the folks over at The Learning Cliff about the Vaanin k’Intaki as well as our fair corporation.

The Learning Cliff is publication aimed at discovering what New Eden has to offer through the eyes of a fresh capsuleer.

We’re pleased to see the interview was posted on Learning Cliff’s April 28 release here. The entire episode is well worth the listen; Bataav’s segment begins at the 00:37:00 mark.

Many thanks to The Learning Cliff for this opportunity!

Intaki Prime Relief Effort Update

The Intaki Prime Relief Effort is a program which ILF has operated since YC111. In its very early days, contributions to the program came mainly from ILF pilots, but as news of the relief effort spread, donations from allies and other unaffiliated groups quickly became the norm.

Many of the donations we receive are made anonymously. We respect that these individuals or groups wish to keep their identities private, even from us, whatever the reason.

Intaki Prime Relief Effort

In recent days the Intaki system has been subject to unfortunate events which have had a variety of disruptive or destructive consequences for local businesses and residents. In light of this and in cooperation with requests made by the Intaki Assembly, the Intaki Liberation Front has brought in extra volunteers and staff to ensure efficient and timely handling of supplies donated via our Intaki Prime Relief Effort program.

Intaki Assembly Condemns “Orbital Strike Tournament”

INTAKI – The Intaki Assembly has harshly condemned the Imperfects mercenary corporation for organizing a combat tournament on Intaki Prime which featured capsuleers providing off-field support via orbital strikes. The tournament, which involved mercenary corporations from across the cluster, was characterized by the Assembly as “an illegal bloodsport which caused untold damage to the planetary biosphere.”

Ishukone Expresses Anger at Caldari Provincial Directorate

Ground Fighting Erupts on Intaki Homeworld

MALKALEN – Ishukone CEO Mens Reppola has launched a public attack against the administration of State Executor Tibus Heth for allowing ground fighting to erupt on the homeworld of the Intaki, a major Federation member. Previously the only world in the contestable regions to have been completely excluded from planetside fighting, clashes between Federation and Caldari forces have erupted with absolutely no signs of abating.

New Rules of Engagement

In recent weeks, the Intaki Prosperity Initiative has been engaged in an internal review of many of our policies.

We remain committed to peace, economic development, and prosperity for citizens of the Intaki sovereignty. In pursuit of these goals we will also continue to combat capsuleer and Serpentis pirates who choose to enter our area of operations.

Effective December 4, YC114, the Intaki Prosperity Initiative has adopted new Rules of Engagement which align with CONCORD’s revised Crimewatch protocols.

IPI Tidying Up Intaki with Friends

On the morning of June 10, a fleet comprised of Intaki Prosperity Initiative pilots set out to take down a starbase belonging to AOM.

Contrary to AOM’s public Galnet portal, which claims it is a friendly company for miners, AOM pilots have been observed operating aggressively within the Intaki sov, including indiscriminately attacking members of a variety of local capsuleer groups.

Announcing Formation of New Trade Hub

For over two years the Intaki Prosperity Initiative, along with our allies and partners, has maintained a successful trade hub at Intaki V-5. For residents of Viriette and the greater Placid region, the Intaki V-5 hub makes many ships and other equipment available which they might otherwise have to travel outside Placid to acquire.

Building upon this success, IPI is pleased to announce we will be proceeding with an idea recently put forth by Bataav en Gravonere, who represents ILF on the IPI Council.

Kapdan Assemblyman Moves Against Mordu’s Legion

KAPDA (OSTINGELE VII) – Kapdan Assemblyman Jirtal LeSoir, the Ostingele colony’s longest serving representative, announced today his plan to put forth a resolution calling for the immediate suspension of the Mordu’s Legion franchise for security services in the Intaki System.

LeSoir was among a vocal minority at the time the security contract was awarded to Mordu’s Legion and has continued to speak publicly against the decision. Today’s move, however, takes his opposition to a new level.

Medusa PMC Opens Fire on Seven Gang, Catches Flak From Colony Officials

DAMANIER COLONY, INTAKI PRIME – The Medusa PMC made another strike against the criminal underworld of Intaki on March 20, and in so doing caused uproar in the colony between thankful citizens and concerned administrators.

The PMC, which made press headlines not long ago after destroying a Seven Gang outpost, have since harried and dogged the breakaway criminals in multiple locations, primarily the settlements closest to the equator. Unlike the polar centers of industry and commerce, the nearly lifeless equator of Intaki Prime lends itself to unfavorable social tension.
